Expired Parking Meter Tombstone

An “expired” parking meter that was placed at the request of the deceased on her grave stone in the Highland Cemetery in Okemah, OK. This lady had a great sense of humor and always used to say that when she died she wanted a parking meter on her grave that says ‘Expired.’ So her nephew got her one on eBay! She said that the lady’s grave is right by the road so everyone can see it and many people have stopped to get a chuckle.

As Barbara Sue’s daughter, Sherri Ann Weeks, explained, the unusual decorative feature at the gravesite was indeed her mother’s idea. “Mom always wanted a parking meter on her grave with the words time expired. She died exactly on her 64th birthday, so my brother had special stickers made that read: 64 year time limit.”

A security update of the manufacturer is currently unavailable. Therefore, the BSI recommends all users of Internet Explorer to use as long as an alternative browser for Internet use, until the manufacturer has released a security update is available.
